Jyotiraditya M. Scindia Stepped In As Minister for the Ministry of Development of the North Eastern Region
Guwahati, June 12: Jyotiraditya M. Scindia has taken charge over as the Union
Minister for the Ministry of Development of the North Eastern Region. After
getting appointed as Minister for the Ministry of Development and stepping
into his new role, Scindia met with senior ministry officials to review
ongoing schemes.
Speaking to the media, Scindia emphasized the Prime Minister's focus on the
North Eastern region, stating, “ The Prime Minister has always
prioritised the North Eastern region, and we are committed to realising the
Prime Minister's vision. It is our commitment to accelerate the development of
this region and establish new benchmarks for modern development."
In addition to this role, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia will also be in charge of
the Communication Ministry in the Modi 3.0 cabinet. Previously, he served as
the Minister of Civil Aviation and Steel in PM Modi's last term. [no_toc]
