The Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes in
Assam has announced the official notification for the Assam OBC Scholarship
Scheme. This scheme offers Pre-Matric and Post-Matric scholarships for
students in Assam belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC/MOBC) for the
academic year 2023-2024. If you are eligible and interested, you can apply for
the OBC Scholarship Assam 2024 online through the National Scholarship Portal

Assam OBC Scholarship 2024 - Eligibility Criteria
| Criteria | Details |

| Community | Only students from the OBC community are eligible for the scholarship. |
| Citizenship | The scholarship is open only to Indian nationals. |
| Family Restriction | A maximum of two boys from the same parents/guardian can receive the scholarship. No restriction for girls. |

| - For Pre-Matric (Class I-X) Scholarship (Component-II) | No income limit for children of parents engaged in occupations involving cleaning and prone to health hazards. Submit a certificate from District Social Welfare office or an authorized authority designated by the State Government. |
